Hi, I'm Andie, and I'm so glad you're here.

I've always been drawn to the complexity of people: the stories we carry, the ways we learn to cope, and the quiet strength it takes to begin doing things differently. That curiosity is what led me into this work, and what keeps me grounded in it.

I don't see therapy as fixing something broken. It's a space to understand yourself more deeply, especially the parts that have felt overwhelming or hard to hold alone. Therapy isn't something I do to you, it's something we build together.

You are the expert in your own experience. My role is to walk alongside you with curiosity, warmth, and care, helping you notice patterns, make sense of what's been happening, and gently open space for change at a pace that feels right for you.

As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying), I practice under clinical supervision. Sessions are eligible for reimbursement under most extended health benefit plans in Ontario.

My Approach to Therapy

Therapy isn't about fixing you. It's about understanding your experiences and learning to meet yourself with curiosity and compassion. My approach is warm, collaborative, and deeply client-centred: You are the expert of your own experience, and my role is to walk alongside you as you find your way forward.

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, always tailored to you:

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing

EMDR is a research-based approach that helps the brain process traumatic memories and experiences.

Internal Family Systems

IFS explores the different "parts" of you to build understanding, self-trust, and self-compassion from the inside out.

Attachment-Based Therapy

Attachment therapy explores how early relationships shaped the way you connect, trust, and feel safe, and helps you build secure relationships.

Somatic Therapy

Somatic therapy works with the body as well as the mind, since anxiety, trauma, and stress live in your body and nervous system too.

Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

DBT builds practical skills for managing overwhelming emotions, improving relationships, and finding balance between acceptance and change.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACT combines mindfulness with values-based action, so you can move toward what actually matters to you.

Common Questions

In our consultation, we'll talk about what's bringing you to therapy, your goals, and whether my approach feels like a good fit.

Sessions are held virtually via Jane, so you can attend from wherever feels most safe and comfortable.

Most clients start weekly or bi-weekly. We'll figure out a rhythm together based on what you're working on and what feels sustainable for you.

Sessions with a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) are covered by many extended health benefit plans in Ontario, though coverage varies by provider. I'd recommend checking with your insurer for specifics. You'll receive a receipt after each session for reimbursement.

That's exactly what the free consultation is for. You can ask me anything, get a feel for how I work, and decide from there.
